About Tri-M Music Honor Society
Tri-M Music Honor Society is dedicated to fostering musical talent, creativity, and community involvement among students. Our members are encouraged to participate in various activities such as community concerts, concert companions, and volunteer events to enrich their musical experience and give back to the community.

What is Tri-M?
Tri-M stands for “Modern Music Masters” and is a program of the National Association for Music Education. Tri-M is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements, reward them for their accomplishments and service to the community, and to inspire other students to excel through music and leadership. Students complete 5 hours of volunteer service, 2 concert companions, 2 Tri-M sanctioned events, and 1 community concert. These events are divided up over the course of the school year.
Who can be involved?
Any student that is currently enrolled in band, chorus, or orchestra is invited to join Tri-M at Edwardsville High School. All students must maintain good academic standing with no disciplinary issues.
Why is Tri-M important?
Tri-M is a National Honor Society driven to promote music and leadership throughout the community. It is a great way to volunteer and get involved with people in your community who love and appreciate music. Also, because it is a nationally recognized organization it looks great on college applications!
